Quebec-based actor who won an award for best actress at the Masques Awards for her first important professional role in Michel Marc Bouchard's Les Muses orphelines (1995).

Pascale Desrochers was born in 1968, and raised in a working-class family in Joliette, Quebec. She enrolled in the Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique de Montréal, where she graduated in 1992.

Since Muses... she has performed at the Nouvelle Compagnie Théâtrale / Théâtre Denise-Pelletier in René Richard Cyr's production of Ionesco's Rhinocéros; the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde production of Le Barbier de Seville (1999), also directed by Cyr, and Martin Faucher's Nouvelle Compagnie Théâtrale / Théâtre Denise-Pelletier production of Corneille's Le Menteur (October, 1999).

More recently, she has appeared in three plays by Claude Meunier: Les Noces de Tole (2003, dir. Denis Bouchard, Compagnie Jean-Duceppe, Monument National, 2003); Appelez-moi Stéphan (dir. Denis Bouchard, Compagnie Jean-Duceppe, 2005); and Les Voisins (dir. Bouchard, Théâtre Hector Charland, 2006).

She has also worked extensively in television and film.
