Quebec actor/playwright born in Paris, France, 1903, died in Montreal, 1971.

He was closely associated with Fred Barry and Albert Duquesne who, through the Troupe Barry-Duquesne-Deyglun, presented his works. He also acted with the troupe. His works were performed, notably, at the Monument National, Théâtre Arcade, the Saint-Denis, and Chanteclerc.

Henry Deyglun also wrote for radio, including the series Vie de famille.

He was married to actor Mimi D'Estée and they had two children: writer Serge and artist Micheline. He was then married to Janine Sutto. They had a twins, including actor Mireille.

Among his plays: La mère abandonnée, Coeur de maman, Le Roman d'une orpheline, Dans les griffes du diable, La France vivra, C'est un mauvais garçon, La Fille au coeur de pierre, Muller, Les secrets du docteur Morhanges, L'Esprit contre la chair, Mariages de guerre, L'Ombre du mort vivant, Le Secret de l'infirme, Les Tourments de la haine.
