Durand, Luc

Veteran Quebec-based actor/director. Born in Montreal in 1935, died there in 2000.

He began performing in his father, Donat's, troupe at the age of eight years old. He performed with Paul Buissonneau's children's troupe, and then at the Théâtre de Quat'Sous.

He has also performed at Théâtre du Rideau Vert, Nouvelle Compagnie Théâtrale and the Théâtre d'Aujourd'hui (notably in the premiere of Normand Chaurette's Je vous écris du Caire in October, 1993) and, often, at the Théâtre du Vieux-Terrebonne, among many others.

Luc Durand also performed extensively on television.
