One of the country's top designers , Michael Eagan has designed for many of the major theatre, dance and opera companies in Canada including the Stratford Festival , the Shaw Festival , Canadian Stage , Theatre Calgary and Centaur Theatre . He was also director of design at the National Theatre School of Canada .
His designs are thoroughly researched for era and context and he has supreme taste. Recent works include the Centaur production of the James W. Nichol adaptation of Margaret Laurence's Stone Angel, the Banff Centre for The Arts production of The Rake's Progress and Rainbow Stage's Guys and Dolls.
He has also designed on Broadway and at the Julliard School.
More recently - summer, 2000 - he designed the sets for the rep company, Theatre Lac Brome (Knowlton, Quebec).
