Stage manager (SM) born in Manila, the Philippines, in 1969, currently living in Montreal.

Christina Hidalgo studied at Ryerson Politechnical Institute in Toronto and has worked since, in many of Canada's important theatres including the National Arts Centre, Great Canadian Theatre Company, Theatre New Brunswick, Manitoba Theatre Centre, and Stratford Festival.

For the Centaur Theatre, she has assisted the stage manager for Twelfth Night, If We Are Women, and Angels in America: The Millennium Approaches.

She has stage managed technically complex shows like Miles Potter's production of Picasso at the Lapin Agile (which won a Masques Award for best English language production), and in 1999, the premiere of Kit Brennan's fantasy Having. She also SMed the intense Infinitheatre premiere season in the fall of 1998 and Bill Glassco's Montreal Young Company (February, 2000), as well as Marianne Ackerman's new play Venus of Dublin (Centaur, April, 2000). In May, 2001, she held the reins for the Centaur production of Jean-Marc Dalpé's Trick or Treat; and in 2008, of Relative Good (written and directed by David Gow, 2008). More recently, she managed The Taming of the Shrew for Repercussion Theatre (2012).
