Quebec-based actor, born April 15, 1958. Francis Reddy graduated from the theatre program at Cégep Lionel-Groulx de Sainte-Thérèse in 1981, and began his acting career in summer theatre. A few years later he was cast in his first feature. Francis Reddy was Artistic director of one of the Quebec's best summer theatres, Théâtre des Cascades, where he also performed. The theatre closed in 2019, when municipal financial support was no longer available.

Reddy performed in the Théâtre Hector-Charland (L'Assomption, Quebec) production of Neil Simon's Bonjour Broadway/Broadway Bound (summer, 2001).

He was spokesman for Montréal’s Festival of Children in 2004.

He has been a popular Quebec television star and show host. More recently, he has been the announcer for Radio-Canada's "Les saisons de Francis" on ICI Musique.
