Brouillette, Robert

Quebec-based character actor, born in Grand-Mère, Shawinigan April 15, 1965. He graduated from the theatre program at Collège Lionel-Groulx in 1990.

Robert Brouillette received the Critics' Circle Award for discovery of the year for his first large role, the title in the premiere of Michel Tremblay's Marcel poursuivi par les chiens (1993).

Since then he has performed in a wide range of plays, notably at Compagnie Jean-Duceppe in 1997 (Des hommes d'honneur/A Few Good Men), and at Théâtre de la Chène in Au secours!.

He has also acted extensively in television series and film, and has received several Genie and Gémeaux awards and nominations.
