Jill Frappier

British-born, Toronto Ontario-based actor. Jill Frappier moved to Canada in 1967 to work as a hostess at the British pavilion during the 1967 International and Universal Exposition.

She subsequently performed at La Poudrière, Centaur Theatre, and the Saidye Bronfman Centre (notably in the title role in Carlo Goldoni's La Locandiera, 1975). She also performed in the premieres of Allan Stratton's Rexy! (1980), and Simon Sachs' Without Her (1993). In September 2001, she performed in the Theatre Aquarius production of The Crucible. More recently, she played Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest at Guild Festival Theatre, a professional summer theatre in Scarborough, Ontario.

Frappier has appeared in many television and film productions, (notably in Murdoch Mysteries, and Indian Horse, 2017). She has worked extensively as a voice actor for animated film (best known as Luna in Sailor Moon).

Her performances are marked by a luscious voice and a gentleness of spirit.
