Norman Helms

Quebec-based actor, born in 1984. He has an Arts degree in theatre from the Université de Québec à Montréal.

Norman Helms came to public attention with his performance in the premiere of Dominic Champagne's La répétition/Playing Bare. He subsequently performed in the premiere of Champagne's La Cité interdite in 1991. In 1990 he performed in the thrilling experimental work Voilà ce qui se passe à Orangeville/This is What Happens in Orangeville by Hillar Liitoja, produced by the Groupe Multidisciplinaire de Montréal.

He has also played in Sam Shepherd's True West (at the Nouvelle Compagnie Théâtrale / Théâtre Denise-Pelletier, directed by Brigitte Haentjens, opposite Roy Dupuis); and at the Théâtre la Licorne in Tony Kushner's Un chambre claire comme le jour/A Bright Room Called Day.

Norman Helms also works on television.
