Kate Bligh

Kate Bligh is a freelance director and dramaturge and is the founder and Artistic Director of Temenos (Productions).

She was born in England, and has an M.A. degree in directing from the Drama Centre, London, and the University of Birmingham. She was Artistic Director of the Black Theatre Workshop from 1999 to 2001. Collaborations in Montreal include working with Ben Barnes at the Theatre du Nouveau Monde and direction for Dulcinea Langfelder & Cie on Victoria. She has been working in professional theatre for twenty-eight years. Kate Bigh also teaches at Concordia University and National Theatre School of Canada. She has always worked with new plays, and recently won an award for her work with new writing.
