Quebec-based actor, of Czech descent, born in 1950 in Norway, who immigrated to Canada at the age of four. Vlasta Vrana has an extensive career in film and television (over 285 productions). Among his stage credits are the Felix Mirbt/Jean Herbiet puppet versions of The Dream Play and Woyzeck, as well as On the Job, Lady From the Sea, Lenz and The Friedman Family Fortune, all with Centaur Theatre; voices for Lord of the Rings and The Hobbitt for Théâtre sans fil and Alexandre Hausvater's adaptation of Chekhov's The Seagull.

Vlasta Vrana's performances are marked by his magnificent voice and a centred stage presence.
