Sandler, Allan

Quebec-based producer and executive producer for Snapshot Productions. With Snapshot partner, Roger Peace, he was instrumental in mounting a series of highly successful commercial theatre projects including A Tribute to Broadway, Nunsense II, Beau Jest and The Sisters Rosensweig (a smash hit in co-production with the Saidye Bronfman Centre).

In 1995 Sandler found his "show of a lifetime" in the Joan of Arc musical theatre piece Jeanne and mounted it very successfully at the Saidye Bronfman. He co-produced the remount of the work in French in 1997 which was a money-loser (though it was seen by some 80,000 people). However, in 1998, Sandler co-produced a Québécois version of the musical Grease which had a hugely successful run throughout the summer in Montreal.

He co-produced a French-language production of La Cage aux Folles in February 2000.

In 2010 he co-founded Copa de Oro with Roger Peace, to produce original musical theatre
